Michele Glassford

Michele Glassford was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, but grew up mostly in Oshawa, Ontario. She has resided in Burlington, Ontario since 1994. Michele is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and practices law in Stoney Creek, Ontario. She is also an editor of the Human Resources Policy Pro published by First Reference. Michele relies on rotten rhymes for relief from the often humourless world of legal practice. Michele has been writing and performing children's poetry for many years but "Laughing Gas - Rotten Rhymes and Scraps of Hot Air", published by Laughing Gas Press, is her first published collection of poetry.

Lisa Lach

Lisa Lach lives in Ontario, Canada. There are three published books to her credit. She illustrated "Laughing Gas: Rotten Rhymes and Scraps of Hot Air," with author Michele Glassford, wrote "Showdown at McDade," and wrote "Silent Night, Deadly Night: McDade, Texas 1883." She also has several articles published in magazines, newspapers and the Internet. Lisa is a member of the Wild West History Association, the McDade Historical Society, and the Bastrop Historical Society in Texas. .
